TaskGenie Refund Policy

At TaskGenie, we strive to provide exceptional service and customer satisfaction. However, we understand that there may be circumstances where you may need to request a refund. This comprehensive refund policy outlines the conditions and processes for obtaining a refund for services booked through TaskGenie.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
1.1 Service Not Provided:
- If a TaskGenie Service Pro does not show up for a scheduled task, you are eligible for a full refund.
1.2 Service Incomplete:
- If a TaskGenie Service Pro is unable to complete the task due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the extent of the incomplete service.
1.3 Service Quality:
- If you are not satisfied with the quality of the service provided, you may request a refund. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the nature of the complaint and the evidence provided (e.g., photos, descriptions).
2. Refund Request Process
2.1 How to Request a Refund:
- To request a refund, please contact our customer support team at support@taskgenie.com within 24 hours of the scheduled task completion time. Provide your booking details, the reason for the refund request, and any supporting evidence (e.g., photos of unsatisfactory work).
2.2 Review and Response:
- Upon receiving your refund request, our customer support team will review the details and evidence provided. We may contact you for additional information if needed. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
2.3 Resolution:
- If your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking. If your refund request is denied, we will provide a detailed explanation of the decision.
3. Partial Refunds
3.1 Eligibility:
- In cases where the service was partially completed or the quality was substandard, a partial refund may be issued based on the extent of the completed service or the severity of the issue.
3.2 Calculation:
- Partial refunds will be calculated based on the proportion of the service that was satisfactorily completed or the degree of the quality issue.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
4.1 Late Cancellations:
- If you cancel a task less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, the cancellation fee as outlined in our cancellation policy will apply, and the remaining amount will be non-refundable.
4.2 No-Show by Customer:
- If you are not present at the scheduled task location and have not provided access to the TaskGenie Service Pro, you will not be eligible for a refund.
4.3 Changes in Service Scope:
- If you request additional services or changes to the original task that were not agreed upon, and the TaskGenie Service Pro is unable to accommodate these changes, you will not be eligible for a refund for the additional or changed services.
5. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure events such as natural disasters, severe weather, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of TaskGenie or the TaskGenie Service Pro, refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of TaskGenie.
